Initial Problem:
Our clients were not happy with their initial outdoor space. They felt as though they needed more room and didn't want to just add a large deck. They wanted the space to feel more interesting than just a deck. They also wanted to be able to enjoy watching tv and relaxing outside during all types of weather. wanted an elevation change more , wanted a heating element, not all patio wanted more interesting.
What was done:
We decided to add an elevation change with the deck and the patio to make the space feel more interesting. We added a gas fireplace as the heating element and a nice focal point for the lounging area. We added a covered space to sit and watch football games even in damp weather.
End Result of the Project:
This project resulted in having the feel of 2 zones. A deck for the dining area, and a roof covered patio with a tv and gas fireplace for the lounging space. Now our clients can enjoy the outdoors all year long. They love watching football games outside in the fall and the shade from the hot sun during the summer months.
